Introduction

Hi everyone! My name is Kiana Sims, and welcome to my website.

I’m currently a college student studying writing, and one of my biggest goals is to become a published author someday. I created this website as a place where I can share my work, express my ideas, and give visitors a better understanding of who I am as a writer and a student.

Writing has always been something that allows me to express myself and explore ideas in a deeper way. Over time, it has become more than just an assignment for school. It’s something that helps me think critically, tell stories, and connect with other people through language.

This website is a reflection of that journey.

My Writing Journey

Throughout my time in college, I’ve taken classes that focus on writing, rhetoric, and language. These courses have helped me understand that writing is not just about putting words on a page. It’s also about communication, audience, and the way ideas can influence the way people think and understand the world.

I’ve been especially interested in topics related to rhetoric and communication. Learning about these subjects has helped me see how powerful writing can be in shaping conversations about important issues.

As I continue developing my skills, I hope to keep growing as both a researcher and a creative writer.

On this website, you’ll find different pieces of writing and projects that represent my interests and the work I’ve done in my classes.

A Little More About Me

Outside of writing and school, there are a few other things that I enjoy that help inspire my creativity.

One of those things is music. I listen to a lot of pop, K-pop, and rap, and music often helps me focus when I’m writing or working on projects. It can also inspire ideas and emotions that make writing feel more personal and expressive.

I also enjoy makeup and beauty routines. For me, makeup is another form of creativity and self-expression. Just like writing, it allows me to experiment, create something unique, and show a bit of my personality.

Even though these interests may seem different, they all connect through creativity and personal expression.

The purpose of this website is to bring all of these interests together in one place.

I wanted to create a space where people can see my work, learn a little about who I am, and follow my growth as a writer. As I continue studying, writing and developing my skills, this website will continue to grow with new projects, ideas, and experiences.

In many ways, this site works like a portfolio, but it’s also a space for creativity and exploration.
